The Board approved the Commons Committee recommendation to inform all current boat slip lease holders that the new lease agreements may be postponed until April 1, 2015 or until such time as water levels rise to acceptable levels to permit marina usage.  The 2015 boat slip fees will be prorated.

In addition, they approved the following paragraph to be added to the 2015 Boat Slip Leases:

15.        EMERGENCY PROCEDURES.  In the event the Landlord has determined that an emergency situation exists on the lake, as solely determined by the Fawn Lake Community Association, Inc.’s Board of Directors or Managing Agent, Tenant shall be responsible for removing his boat from the Lake or Boat Slip, at Tenant’s expense.  In the event of an emergency, the Landlord shall have the authority to relocate or remove Tenant’s boat from the Lake or the boat slip following reasonable notice to the Tenant of the emergency.  Landlord shall not be liable for any damage to the boat related to such relocation or removal.  Emergency situations may include, but are not limited to, low water level, flooding, hazardous water conditions, natural disasters or manmade disasters.
